Paula Myatt, Deanne Gannaway, Ivy Chia, Kym Fraser & Jacquelin McDonald are the winners of the IJAD 2018 Article of the Year Award for their article titled ‘Reflecting on institutional support for SoTL engagement: developing a conceptual framework’.

The judges described this paper as filling a gap in existing literature with regard to embedding SoTL institutionally. It offers a valuable conceptual framework that provides academic developers with a robust starting point for any conversation on SoTL development on their campuses, and should prove incredibly useful in moving the needle forward. The article speaks thoroughly to academic developers in an accessible and general way, and it is an excellent example of collaborative writing.
