ICED values global representation and transparency in our organisation.
ICED is a charity (not for profit) organisation in the United Kingdom
It was registered as a company limited by guarantee at Companies House (UK) on 22nd September 2011, number 7783830 (see Company Registration certificate). ICED was also registered as a charity with the Charities Commission (UK) on 4th January 2012, number 1145272.
ICED has two main bodies:
- The ICED Council, which includes one representative from each Member Network (president or designate). The Council meets annually to share Network updates, conduct ICED business, engage in professional development, and identify directions and activities for the organisation.
- The ICED Board, which includes an elected president: and 5 directors from Member Network representatives who are appointed on a rotational basis. An elected Treasurer and IJAD representative for the editors are ex officio Board members. The ICED Board meets throughout the year to plan and further the work of the organisation.


ICED is a charity (not for profit) organisation in the United Kingdom.
ICED’s constitution is called the Memorandum and Articles of Association and can be downloaded for reference. ICED also has a relationship agreement with the IJAD journal. Information about elections and rotational appointments for the ICED Board can also be downloaded.
The ICED Council comprises the presidents, or their designates, of educational development Member Networks.
The President of the ICED Council is elected by the ICED Council Members, serving as president-elect for one year then president for two years.
Kasturi Behari-Leak is the current President. Donna Ellis is the President-Elect.
